I developed this over the last 2 years. It embraces the values that are important to most conservative families, and provides the space to nurture those life choices.
It includes concepts from Permaculture and was designed to nurture a productive lifestyle. We grow and process our food and medicine. We build things, craft things and share things. Life is always busy, but it is busy on the things of our own CHOICE

The Concept Home is designed for a theoretical site in Terrell, Texas. Based on a specific geolocated property, the Concept Home was modeled to optimize that site.
The roof slope, angle and house shape is designed to capture the early morning sun and draw it in for warmlit mornings.
The cool breeze permeates the living spaces. Even the trellis spacing is adjusted for the summer equinox for this specific site.
Security is also a key factor in the design, particularly meant for a family with children. You will sleep securely knowing that the Concept Home is designed for your protection.
Doors, approaches to the Home are designed to allow your family to be aware, to have visual control of things going on. Extra security is provided for sleeping areas. Key parts of the Home can be hardened if so desired, with no redesign to the spaces.
Designed to include upgrades for resilience:
-solar panel install (on roof or on site)
-water harvesting and storage systems
-propane redundancy
-option for supplemental heating via rocket mass heater
-hardening for security
-future home expansion/additional bedrooms
-hardening for storms/tornadoes (with varying levels of safety)
